Sefton Park is a particular favourite with the locals, you can take a stroll through its 200 acres of greenery, admiring the flowerbeds with carpets of bluebells and dozens daffodils in the flowerbeds if they are in season, stop in at the café for a bite, and even take a turn in the boating lake! It is also a festival’s venue, and is home to Liverpool International Music Festival and Liverpool Food and Drink Festival.
Immerse Yourself in the History and Culture
Liverpool is steeped in history and culture and is the birth place of beloved band The Beatles. The Beatles Story is well worth a visit, as is the ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ if you are interested in learning more about how the Fab 4 came to be!
There is also the Liverpool Martime Museum, The International Slavery Museum, and The Tate Liverpool Art Gallery, all located at the UNESCO World Heritage site at the Albert Dock.
